Before My Appointment
The best way to prepare for your appointment is to follow all pre-appointment instructions to ensure you bleed minimally and your skin retains the pigment well.
NO caffeine 24 hours before the procedure
NO alcohol 48 hours before the procedure
NO Vitamin E, Fish oils, Niacin, 14 days before the procedure
NO Ibuprofen, Aspirin or any other blood thinning medication, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure (Tylenol is ok)
NO exercising the day of the procedure as it expands the pores
NO extensive sun exposure or sunburn at least 14 days before the procedure
NO plucking, waxing or threading at least 7 days before the procedure
Scheduling the procedure around the menstrual cycle will make the client more sensitive to pain and they will bleed more during the procedure
Avoid the following treatments within 4 weeks of the procedure: laser treatments, micro-needling, derma-planning, any other facials, Botox or other fillers, and chemicals peels
Avoid Accutane and/or steroids which thin and make the skin more sensitive. Please wait 6 months after getting off any prescription medication for the skin before scheduling an appointment
Avoid AHA’s or any creams/face washes for exfoliating, anti-aging, tone correcting and fading for at least 14 days prior to your appointment – they may discolor the Microbladed eyebrows
Also, you can bring a photo or you can look through our gallery and see which shape/style/color you like better. These will also be discussed with your artist during your appointment in order to customize your best eyebrows that frame your face beautifully.
