The List of Contraindications
Those under 18 years old.
Those who are pregnant or nursing.
Those who have skin conditions on or near eyebrows. This includes rashes, eczema, etc. Minor scars are ok, as permanent make-up can cover most scars.
Those who have had Juvederm or other fillers done in the last 6 weeks.
Those who are prone to post-inflammatory hypo-pigmentation or keloids.
Those who have HIV or Hepatitis.
Those who have hemophilia.
Those who are taking blood thinning medication.
Those who have active cancer - we will request a doctor’s note before we can perform the procedure on you.
Those who have healing disorders.
Those who have uncontrolled high blood pressure or mitral valve disorder.
Those who are taking any skin medication like Accutane and/or steroids, which thin and make the skin more sensitive. Please wait 6 months after getting off any skin medication before scheduling your appointment.
Those who are on any AHA’s or OTC creams for exfoliating, anti-aging, tone correcting or fading. They will discolor the microbladed eyebrows so make sure you wait at least 2-4 weeks before scheduling your appointment.
Those who are on their period, as they will be more sensitive and bleed more. Wait until you are off your period to schedule your appointment.
Those who are going through chemotherapy - we will request a doctor’s note before we can perform the procedure on you.
Those who have had eyelifts done or blepharoplasties, please wait 3 months at least before getting permanent make-up done.
Those who have shingles/varicella on their face please wait several months before getting Microblading done.
